Fund Raising Events

Currently two fund raising events in support of End-Of-Life (palliative and hospice care) are held within our communities annually.

The Emerald Ball is a formal dinner and dance held in the early spring at a downtown Toronto location. Guests enjoy a memorable evening of fellowship, fine dining, and dance.

The Emerald Chukker – Polo For Palliative Care is a luncheon and polo match held in mid September at the Gormley Polo Fields in Aurora. Guests of all ages enjoy a delicious catered meal under the cover of tents while being entertained by a polo match and learning the intricacies of the sport of kings. A silent auction is held in conjunction with the event.
